Praxis I - Math Practice
JUMP to question:

Good luck!

The purpose of this site is to help you prepare for the math portion of the Praxis I test. Because of the general nature of the questions, students taking the SAT, ACT, and GRE may also benefit from attempting these practice questions.

How to use this site:

  1. Print out this scoresheet (HTML version) (PDF version) to record which questions you got right, which you needed help for, and which questions you missed.
  2. Use the links on the left side of this page to jump to the question you would like to attempt.
  3. Read the question.
  4. If you have trouble getting started, click on the "Hint" button.
  5. Click on your choice to record your answer.
  6. Now click on the "Answer" button to compare your choice with the correct answer.
  7. Finally, use the printed scoresheet to record how you did on that question.

Other features on the question pages:

  • A link to the HOME page so you can return here to try other questions. The numbers of the questions you have not yet attempted will appear BOLD.
  • The CLOCK in the upper left corner will help you judge the amount of time you're spending on each question. The timer ticks in five second intervals and turns fully red after a minute. For this feature to function properly you need to have JavaScript enabled in your browser.

If you have any questions, please e-mail them to Kelly Jo Rowan.
